Louvana Records proudly presents the release of the soundtrack for the retro TV series 'Meliartos' by actor-screenwriter Loris Loizides’ and director Theodosis Economides. The soundtrack was composed by Cypriot producers Andreas Trachonitis and Lefteris Moumtzis.

The Meliartos score nods to the silver screen soundtracks of Mimis Plessas and Mikis Theodorakis. References to Hiotis, rebetiko, Sinatra and Greek teddy-boy (“teddyboides”) shake and garage rock were a starting point for Trachonitis and Moumtzis, resulting in a retro sonic timewarp laced with overdriven bouzouki solos, suave organ melody lines, and velvet smooth orchestrations to accompany Meliartos’ nostalgic storyline.
